So you've decided to follow one of the hottest hair extensions trends and offer Tape-In hair extensions services in your salon. Or maybe you're already offering the service, but not satisfied with the quality of the Tape-In hair extensions offered to your clients. Either way, you came to the right place! We're here to help you find the right Tape-In Hair Extension Company.
1. Hair QualitySince Tape-In hair extensions are permanent hair extensions, they will need to be made using 100% human remy hair only. Many hair extensions companies are using lower grade hair or use harsh chemicals to remove the hair’s cuticles to speed up the hair process. Aqua Hair Extensions sells only 100% human remy hair, and we do not use any harsh chemicals to remove the cuticle. We use a gentle and slow 21-day lifting process to preserve and maintain the integrity of the hair. This advanced process will keep the hair healthier, and shinier for a longer time. We never coat our hair extensions with any silicone product. They're even reusable up to three times saving your client money from purchasing new set of hair extensions every time.
2. Tape qualityThe tape lasts about 6-8 weeks, so the tape quality is just as important as the hair quality. Many Tape-In hair extension companies are using oversea tape that is usually very thick, not flexible, and leaves a lot of residue on the client’s hair when it's removed. Aqua Hair Extensions’ tape is made in the USA and it is one of the thinnest and most flexible tape on the market. Our tape is pre-cut so it saves time and makes it easier to apply. Aqua’s tape is very strong and the removal process is fast and clean (most importantly without leaving any residue on the hair).
3. Packaging & LengthsThe average amount for a full head of Tape-Ins for a single client is 40 pieces (or 20 complete tape extensions). Many hair extension companies are selling their Tape-In extensions in sets of 20 or 40 pieces, limiting the hairstylist color to only one or two options. The majority of hair extension experts will use at least two or three colors per client so the hair will blend with the natural hair color, and create dimension. Our packaging contains 10 pieces per pack (or 5 complete extensions) giving the hair stylists the option to choose up to 4 different colors for their client. 10 pieces per pack gives the salon owner or hairstylist more control on hair inventory, as sometimes clients will only need just a few as a replacement.
4. Accessories & After care productsTo only offer Tape-In services is not enough. Accessories and after care products like shampoos, conditioners, removers and replacements tabs are important for a complete service. Our Shampoo and Conditioner (sulfate and paraben-free) for best hair extensions maintenance. Many hair extension companies use pure alcohol or acetone as the tape remover, but Aqua Hair Extensions offers two different types of removers:
Express Remover: A blend of alcohol and mineral oils to protect the client’s hair. Glide Remover: An oil based remover.
