I've never taken an extension class before. What system should I start with?
No experience? No problem! Every AQUA class provides hands-on learning and expert guidance. Many stylists start with the Weft Method, as it’s one of the most popular and versatile systems. However, all our classes are designed to build your confidence and skills, no matter where you start!

How do I find available classes ?
Simply visit AQUA’s Education Page to browse our complete list of upcoming virtual and in-person classes. New dates and locations are added regularly, so keep an eye out for one that fits your schedule!
Are there any prerequisite classes for specific systems?
Most AQUA classes have no prerequisites, making them accessible to all stylists. However, for the Camo Method, we recommend taking a basic Weft Course first, as this is an advanced sewing method class.
HOW DO I BOOK A VIRTUAL CLASS FOR MYSELF?
Booking a virtual class is simple! Head over to the Classes section on our website, select the View In Virtual option with your preferred date, and complete your registration. Once booked, you'll receive an email with all the class details and a secure login link. Get ready to learn from the comfort of your home!
What do I need for a virtual class?
Prepare for success with:
- A mannequin head and stand
- A notebook and pen for important notes
- Your class kit (which will be shipped to you)
- A positive attitude—we’re here to make learning fun and engaging!
HOW DO I BOOK AN IN-PERSON CLASS FOR MYSELF?
You have two easy ways to book an in-person class:
Through Your Local Distributor (DSC): Check with your DSC to see upcoming AQUA classes in your area they can set it up for you!
Through AQUA’s Website: Visit the Education Page, select View In Person , and browse our in-person education schedule. Follow the link or call the listed number to secure your spot!
I don’t have a distributor in my area. Can I still attend a class?
Absolutely! Contact AQUA’s Direct Sales Team education@aquahairextensions.com, and we’ll help you find the best class options available for you. We’re committed to making sure everyone gets access to top-tier education, no matter where they are!
WHAT DO I NEED FOR AN IN-PERSON CLASS?
Before the class, check with your distributor to see if you need to bring a mannequin head and stand. You’ll also want:
- A notebook and pen for note-taking
- An open mind and a great attitude!
You’ll receive your extension kit with all necessary tools and practice hair during the class. By the end of the session, you'll be certified in extensions!

I want to attend a class and so does my friend, can we share a kit?
Each ticket includes a personal kit that is only available to the registered attendee. If your friend wants to join, they will need to purchase their own ticket to receive their kit and certification.
I want to host a class but I'm not sure I have enough staff to attend.
Not to worry! If your salon has space to accommodate an AQUA Educator and attendees, we can help turn it into a Cluster Class by connecting you with a local distributor. Your DSC will assist in finding additional stylists to fill the class, making it a great learning and networking opportunity!

The V Light Method is a game-changing temporary extension system, perfect for adding fullness or color transitions to your clients. While it requires a bit more maintenance than other extension systems, it delivers stunning, customizable results!
